This increased my iron more in a couple of months than prescription iron did in several months. No awful side effects such as constipation either. It has better bioavailability than ferrous fumerate, a midwife on here recommends it to her pregnant patients.

Most supermarket multivits with minerals provide 100% of your daily iron requirement. They also contain all the other nutrients your body needs to support iron absorption.

I find the Floradix liquid much easier on my bum than prescription tablets

Did you order the biglycinate in the first link? That’s a good choice.

To help maximise absorption, try to to take on an empty stomach with soluble high strength vitamin c. Don’t eat or drink tea for an hour after and don’t take any other supplements at the same time.

The one linked is quite easy on stomach, but not an especially high dose. If you know you have low iron (ferritin), you could take two tablets a day but make sure you take them together rather than split the dose.

I've never been able to take iron tablets, my digestive system did not like them at all when I've tried in the past but I've recently started taking the iron bisglycinate linked above and so far it's helping and with no side effects, definitely worth trying!
