Will an Urgent treatment centre help

Hi,

I’m considering going to an Urgent treatment centre nearest work if a dull ache continues, as technically I’ve not got anywhere with the GP I don’t think it is uti as I don’t have the burning pee sensation but because of where the dull ache is it could be either kidneys or could embarrassingly be the ovaries and this is some sort of period early days on the coil.

I discussed with my GP surgery about potentially having Proteinuria but they made out it is incredibly common in diabetics (?) and nothing to worry about but if a 2nd urine test comes back they intend to put me on blood pressure type medication. I was told in recent diabetic bloods that kidneys were fine so a little confused. I’ve also most of the times got very good control on the diabetic readings and don’t know if I’ve just been randomly unlucky doing a urine sample what was 4 days after surgery down below to fit the coil. (quite innocent sample was to get weight loss medication) The gp indicated Proteinuria doesn’t symptoms and just wanted to suggest I still had a fibroid.

Could the treatment centre turn me away? I did think about trying a pharmacist but I’m just not sure they can help as I’m not convinced it’s a uti.

Could the discomfort be due to the surgery you had?

Possibly, I’m so gutted, I reached the UTC, they didn’t turn me away, took a urine sample which shows infection and high blood pressure with face flushing, just when you don’t want it, was nearly at the point of getting antibiotics but because I can’t say my pee is actively burning they’ve got me in the a and e queue.

This isn’t my local hospital I can’t see how they can help. Not my smartest move I just can’t bear my GP surgery if I had my way I’d de-register but the only other surgery refused me years ago because of the long-term under active thyroid.

blood found in the urine, they were going to treat as a kidney infection and a caution made about the weight loss medication but now on call gynae is on the way after 11pm.

If I leave without seeing this through and just buy some antibiotics, would my GP surgery be informed? The hospital made some comment they don’t have same systems.

I get they may think it my fault as they say GLP1 has caused a rise in uti’s they see here.

Ah I made a right hash, I got sent to an early pregnancy and loss unit for a gynae to check for ‘pelvic’ problems but as it was after midnight I just got panicky so I’m going back tomorrow maybe which is very kind. I just really wanted them to tell the gp surgery.
