After effects of BPPV

Started with vertigo a couple of weeks ago. GP pretty confident it was BPPV.
I did the dix hallpike test and epley manouvre which appears to have worked as I no longer spin when I turn over in bed or turn my head.
However I'm left feeling vaguely unwell and a little off balance. Has anyone else had this?

Both myself, DP and his friend have had it. Yes you can feel off after an episode, we did. Mine improved after doing the Epley manoeuver. I did it a couple more times and all was ok, this was 2 years ago. I presume it was the ear crystals out of place. DPs resolved after lying down for a while. He's a bugger for cotton buds and had a really itchy ear he dug at furiously at so presumably that triggered it. It's horrible & scary!

Yep - unsteady on my feet for moths after. I would frequently have to hold onto something or lean on something when teaching!

It's a scary feeling so hope it buggars off soon for you.

Any other symptoms? Keep an eye on it, especially if you experience numbness or pins and needles, blurred vision, see GP asap.

I've had it before but not for many years, often after a virus. The actual vertigo lasted longer last time but I don't remember having this washed out wobbly feeling.
@Roselilly36 thanks. The GP did outline some red flags and she was very thorough before she decided it was BPPV. I do have a lot of other health issues.
