Mouse intestines... can someone calm me down b

I am having a bit of a panic & wondering if anyone can make me see sense..

My daughter and our neighbours kid were playing outside on Sunday; as we got outside my neighbour said that isn’t worms, that is mouse intestines… a cat was playing with a cat 🤮

Anyway, my neighbour got it with a spade and chucked it into our nature reserve.

My husband hosed the road down

And the girls continued playing…

I now have a fear, that my daughter and I will get ill from it… even though we never touched it.

Some how I feel like it’s going to have got onto her bike tire or her wheel, or her shoes ( which I actually chucked anyway )

I scrubbed our hands more than you can imagine when we came in…

But Google has lead me to Weils Disease & Hantavirus infection.
(the latter I’ve not heard off and it sounds pretty rare) I’m sure cats bring this stuff into owners house or a regular

I’m 30 weeks pregnant so the hormones are everywhere!

But I don’t have animals for this reason

Oh my love, you have my sympathies.

I suffer from extreme health anxiety OCD and can spiral totally out of control about anything that could remotely be linked to cancer.

You sound the same but maybe with germs?

I promise you, none of you will get poorly. You didn't touch anything, and even if you had, it's all been cleaned up and the germs would not be airborne x

Putting all this aside, your life sounds even harder than mine because of this anxiety.
I have had many many sessions of therapy that did help, and there are drugs available too. Getting help will change your life I promise. I would really recommend you see your doctor with examples of where you have overreacted. It's horrible living like this but help is out there xx

What utter nonsense. You are completely overwrought and unreasonable. Grow up.

This is an incredibly cruel response.

Extremely unhelpful and downright nasty!

You need help with your mental health, not your physical health, OP. As others have said, there is help out there for extreme anxiety and I think you already know your reaction was extreme and irrational.

This reminds me I need to remove the dead rabbit from the garden.
