any soft play centres etc?

We have not been any where, had a rotten bug that has put us out of commision. The only poss explanation can be the bloody doctor.

I am amazed we are not all crawling with them

They can have come from anywhere he has contact with other children. At least you caught them before he passed them on to you. I wasn't so lucky the first time. I had asumed that as DS1 had practically no hair, he wasn't a likely target. WRONG!!

Another reason to be glad you've got boys! Imagine all the combing for a little girl's beautiful long hair.

Can be a couple of weeks before you spot them so maybe they were caught before you all got ill..

Also - if you're wetcombing with conditioner, rather than putting conditioner on dry hair, then combing (with nitty gritty comb, not plastic) it's possible that you missed the buggers on the rest of the family. I'd do it again..
Sorry.

I have the wonderful nitty gritty comb, We def don't have them. I will keep doing us all though.

I have an 11 month old dd who has masses of bloody hair.

My ds1 who is six was so dissapointed he didn't have any as most or his class has had them so far
