Dd1 (3) was a bit sick last night, soon placated and went to sleep. She woke up this morning with a dry night time nappy and, despite drinking a large beaker of juice has still not been for a wee. She normally would have gone at least 3 times. Do I make a drs appointment and keep her off childcare (yet again!) tomorrow? Any experience?

it may be that being sick has dehydrated her. Bodies only pee what they don't need so if she is a little dehydrated body will absorb more than usual. If it goes on much longer, it may be worth ringing nhs direct.

Ah, I hadn't looked at it like that, thank you. Have just plied her with another beaker of juice so will wait like a hawk between the potty and the toilet!

she will pee eventually. My dd was sick two nights ago and on saturday, drank 2 litres of fluid and def did not pee much.

Lovely subject
