lung fuctioning test

My partner got a booked lung functioning test, but it was booked 7 months ago, now he believe his lung is recovered, he got chest pain and we believe it was bronchial inflammation, 5 months he paid the test in different country when he was travelling, the test result shows ok, it was a good hospital.
Now he still feels a bit of pain in chest, my concern is infection in the test room, he was infected in the test room aboard(a bad cold for a week), I believe some patient has some lung infection, this can be a risk, what is your opinion, is it worth it to risk going to test again? We just think the NHS might be better. Thanks

If he still has symptoms it is worth taking the test, surely, Just take usual precautions with hand washing and mask if appropriate.

thanks, his sympton is not much left, I just worries he can attract some worse infection from the test room, as you have to do load of deep breath in the test room...

You think he is going to catch an infection from a lung function test?

The same test thousands of people across the UK have every day with no evidence of this?

What does he think, since it's his lungs?

Thanks, as he was infected in the test room in the summer, so his concern is the same, I knew it is unlikely...

actually, he has been to nearly 4000m high mountain after the test in the summer, so we believe his lung is fine now :)

  1. That test was not in a UK NHS hospital
  1. He had a cold which he could have picked up anywhere
