PVFS question

Hey

So I have a question regarding post Covid / post viral fatigue.

I got hit with PVF last July and it’s been rough - I understand that CFS tends to be diagnosed around 3-6 months post PVF starting (as per GP) but what’s the deal if you never actually get to that 3rd month before you get something else significant?

for context I have had Covid in July, then tonsillitis 3 x , then at the start of sept had Flu and was taken to hosptial for suspected sepsis (I was early stages of sepsis), November I got strep, December I got Covid again, now I’m just getting over flu A (on testing) and pneumonia which I got last week of January for which I was hospitalised.

I know my body isn’t managing these repeat infections well - and I’ve had all the immune stuff, thyroid, iron, everything possible ruled out. I have a toddler in childcare and my mum gets sick as much as I do but obv isn’t quite as debilitated as me. But then I’m never not needed and have had to push through (I’ve stopped now because I literally can’t after this flu).

so I think a TLDR Is can you get PVF back to back ? I feel after each one I’m so wiped out but then I just get something else. We’re not talking sniffles, I mean like full on flus. Hope this makes sense.

Sounds like you need a break! I dont know if I would be going down the route of anything else before you actually havent caught something for more than a few months...I would check ferritin tho
