After my COVID vaccination in December, I developed enlarged lymph nodes. Common side effect I've had. I also had a really bad stomach flu in December and a few other illnesses last year.
I phoned the GP before Xmas and they asked if I had unexpected weight loss, fever, night sweats etc...(common cancer signs) so only booked me a routine appointment as felt no urgency to get me in.
I had the appointment for January but had to cancel but got it rescheduled for February. I can still feel lymph nodes in my left side of neck.
Is it normal to feel lymph nodes? They are only pea / bean sized so I wonder if they would even be classed as enlarged. I have to press down on my neck to feel them. If you look for lymph nodes, can you feel them?
I made the mistake of googling and convinced of the worse case scenario. They aren't painful and aren't growing. I'm scared to go to the doctor if I am being honest. A friend of mine was recently diagnosed with blood cancer and I'm petrified.
Any advice / experiences appreciated.
