Numb body parts when sleeping

Hello, I was wondering if anyone else experiences this and should I be worried. I often wake up at night with a numb arm, which once I shake it off, the feeling returns with some pins and needles. It's often when I've slept on that arm so I haven't been too concerned. But last night I awoke with part of my right cheek numb. I felt that side of my face, and I could feel the pillow lines on it, so I knew I had been sleeping on it. Within 30 seconds, the sensation returned. Should I be worried about this? I didn't think sleeping on one side of my face could do this. No other health conditions accept iron deficiency anemia. Has anyone else experienced this where it hasn't turned out to be terrible disease?!

Anemia causes numbness and pins and needles. Are you being treated for it? It's nothing to worry about at this point, and is normal for all people to get numbness after your body weight presses on a body part.

Are you usually this anxious? Your last sentence is concerning x

Thanks @botheredand . I haven't started txt yet, but I will soon, so it's not resolved.

In response to your second question, I do suffer from health anxiety and fear every new symptom is something scary and serious...

I have this its mainly my hands.
I could also be anaemic as peri and heavy oeriods.

Could you be dehydrated?

It's usually my arms/hands but I guess I got scared when it was my cheek yesterday. The only other thing to mention is my 3 year old was sleeping next to me last night and his head was squashed against mine, as that's how he likes to sleep, so I'm wondering if he was pressing against my face?

Had anyone has this sensation in their head/face area at night?
