I have been getting this rash on and off for a while, I am going to go to the pharmacy to ask about it but does anyone have any insight please, it comes on and off and some days it’s worse than others

I’m guessing it’s fungal, these can spread and like hot sweaty places like arm pits. Antifungal cream maybe? Pharmacy need to advise what safe to use on your face.

Looks like ringworm (which is fungal and not a worm!)

Looks like a fungal infection that my daughter had. You need to see your gp for treatment

Footgoose · 01/01/2024 20:31

I would also say ringworm . Cream from pharmacy . Keep applying after the rash has gone as per instructions or it comes back.

Could be ringworm or a type of eczema e.g. discoid

CurlyhairedAssassin · 01/01/2024 20:36

I'd say it looks more like discoid eczema. I'm not a medic, it just looks exactly like what my DS had this summer - it started like that, and I wondered if it was ringworm (but it didn't have the classic ring marks of ringworm) but soon it became one giant block of redness everywhere and he had to go the GP, on strong steroids etc which cleared it up. I would get a proper diagnosis from the GP.
