Help! I am going mad trying to decide - reading scare stories on both sides...I suppose its up to me though isn't it? I have to make a decision and take a risk for my baby - its horrible. He is 15 months now though - I have waited this long. Perhaps I will never decide, which is of course a decision. I just can't bear the thought of deciding to allow a needle to be put into him, and then he changes forever...when right now he is so healthy. But I heard that measles is coming back in the UK in areas where people have stop immunising?
Oh God....help! Will I ever find an answer?

loads and loads of threads on here which will give you food for thought - have you tried searching? In the end as you say its your decision. You could go for the single jabs as a compromise if you can afford it. Do you have any history of autism or auto- immune disease in your family?

Hi pinkteddy
just looking at some of the other threads thanks. I don't have any history of any bad reactions at all to jabs in my family, no. Does that definitely mean its unlikely to happen to my kid?
Have basically freaked self out by reading lots of scary stories on the internet!

I don't think so no unfortunately! If you have any history of autism in your family I would be very cautious. FWIW dd had the MMR (but not until 18 months) and was fine - she is now coming up to the booster though and I am in a dilemma all over again!

if you have no history of auto immune problems in your family then you are probably fine.
Try not to get worked up about it and dramatic as that will not really help you make a calm decision. 15 months is not the top range for the jab anyway. My middle son had it at 18 month.

Have a look at the other threads and seriously , try to calm down. It is only one decision - there are plenty more still to come
