To feel like a cripple?

Please can somebody share some words of wisdom, a miracle or at least sympathy!!!

I had my little boy in July this year, my first pregnancy which went relatively well with a planned c-section. Recovery was OK and I’m back to walking 3 miles per day and bootcamp once a week.

The only issue I have - my body aches all the time, in places I didn’t know existed! My legs ache more than usual and every time I bend down my knee caps really hurt. And don’t get me started on my back!!! I wake up with lower back pain everyday and it’s impossible to sleep on my side. My hips often rage out in pain! I ache more now than during the pregnancy itself. I honestly feel like I’m crippling away at the grand age of 28.

Is this normal? Do I need some physio? Or is this my new reality?!

I would recommend physio. I experienced pain in all those places when I injured my core. Core becomes weak, other muscles take over and they end up doing more than they should so they hurt and you end up out of alignment

Physio and pilates should sort you out.

@Rainbowboy23

I don't want to alarm you,

i think 🤔 you need to have medical blood tests ect to see if you could have type of Athritis autoimmune syndrome ?

Oh OP. I could have written your post myself! I have all the same.issues as you. I had a C-section last june. My son is 18months now and I still have terrible lower ack pain plus the issues with my knees and hips. My Gzp wasn't worried and just said it will be from the weight gain and pressure of the c section. They've been no help at all, so I just suffer.
