Ive only just noticed it this morning, it doesn't hurt and isn't red... I'll book a doctors appointment but was wondering if anyone had anything similar? It does look a bit flaky as well.

It looks like a bite? Mosquito or flea?

OuchOuchOuched · 26/11/2023 08:40

We don't have any pets, and I doubt a mosquito... could it be another sort of bite?

Ingrown hair.

KateLawsonDidIt · 26/11/2023 11:11

It looks red on the photo?

AlltheJays23 · 26/11/2023 12:13

Deffo looks like a bite, but could be anything really. Id use a warm compress and if it's a bite and there's anything in there it will draw it out. Also maybe put a dab of antiseptic,? See if it helps?

OuchOuchOuched · 26/11/2023 15:36

Thank you everyone. I mean to type it isn't sure but is red* x

Update today...

Anyone had anything similar?

I’d be straight to the Drs.

Google Breast abcess and look at some images?
Hope you’re ok x

Aydel · 28/11/2023 16:56

It’s a boil. Put some magnesium sulphate paste on it, or cotton wool dipped in very hot water to bring it to a head. You can then pop it like a spot. But make sure you clean it afterwards.

OuchOuchOuched · 28/11/2023 17:17

@Aydel just sent DH to the chemist now to get some!

My money would be on a mossie bite. Nowhere is exempt from mosquitos. But most people on MN are not trained medics and I would get it checked out.

OuchOuchOuched · 28/11/2023 17:27

@StarlightLady I think I'll give the doctors a call tomorrow, although I tried to get through regarding something else yesterday and all appointments were gone by 8.40 Sad

I used to get these a lot - it's a boil. Magnesium paste or Sudocrem will draw it out.

Are you diabetic? I've stopped getting them since my blood sugars are better managed.

Oldermum84 · 28/11/2023 17:31

Put something warm on it with some kitchen towel in between, if it's a cyst/boil this will draw the pus out.

TinkerTiger · 28/11/2023 21:43

My money is still on the ingrown hair.

ellenpartridge · 28/11/2023 22:17

Could be an abscess and if so GP will likely refer you same/next day to get it drained at the breastcare dept at hospital. Had this recently and they were brilliant.

CompanyisComing · 28/11/2023 22:20

It’s a boil, it will likely pop on its own.

Theresit · 28/11/2023 22:24

I’d pop that with a clean sewing needle!
