I think I may have found a dentist that is exceptin Adults as well as children for NHS treatment but it is located in the neighbouring PCT .

Will phone them tomorrow but would I be eligble to have treatment in a neighbouring PCT ?

I used to have NHS treatment in a different county - it was nearer to where I worked. Was never a problem, but I guess it may depend on each particular PCT or dentist.

My dentist is in a different PCT (I'm in Surrey). I think it might be up to the practice whether they accept you or not - but they still get paid for treating you, so if they have room on their books, why not?

Thanks Policywonk, I'm in Surrey too so fingers crossed when I make that phone call tomorrow .

You should do. I live in Durham and until last week when I managed to get a dentist here I was registered in Leeds!
