Tips for helping a really sicky little girl

DD2 (2.2) has been throwing up all night. She can't keep anything down and has been wretching up bile most of the time. I tried giving her about a desertspoon of water an hour or so ago but it just came straight back up. Even if she has her teeth cleaned after beng sick she's throwing up again after swallowing minute amounts of water.

Any tips on how to help her?

Would get her to the docs Pennies - you will be worried until you know what it is.
Wrap up warm and give her a bowl for on the way. Or at least give them or nhs direct a call.
Can she suck a soft sweet or anything just to take the bile taste away? Poor dd

I'm pretty sure it's just a normal winter stomach bug - I know of two other kids locally who have had it and I'm not overly concerned right now. I suppose if it continues into tomorrow I'll take her to the dr though.

in that case Peppa Pig, playdough, books & etch a sketch would work for my dd (23mo)

I would not leave it till tomorrow if she cannot keep any water at all down. At least get her seen this afternoon if she is still being sick.

Hi - Did you see the other thread similar to this about a 3 year old with a stomach bug? Note the tip about if her breath smells like Pear Drops you need to take action too.
