during my pregnancy my hip kept giving way like jelly and as time went on i started getting shooting pains in my groin that radiated down my legs. I would have good and bad days depending on babies position. Anyway i wasnt refferred or anything just told to wear a suppourt belt. Since giving birth and 7 weeks on my groin/pubic bone area still feels very achey and bruised almost. Ive started walking again and found it more noticable and particular uncomfortable at night. It sounds strange but i feel different down there and dont look the same bone structure iykwim. Its almost as if my vaginal area goes in not sure whether this is because its been puffy donw there for last 9 moths so whether thats why it look different. Could this be SPD?

GO GO to a rehab physion if you can afford it
if not go to GP and demand referral to physio
I have siffered hideous disablement since having ds2 despite not having BAD SPd in pregnancy
he is 11 mths now and I am getting better slowly after much physio
it is often down to a misaligned pelvis which causes so much pain.
Are you breastfeeding? makes not much differnce tbh but the hormones keep your ligaments softer and this can make it easier to manipulate things back.
I am bf at 11 mths still.
pls do CAT me if you need more info I would give anything for anyone looking afte a baby not be restricted like I have/am being

okies will write more later. But mine impaired my mobility so much I was on crutches. Ask your hv for the heads up on the most sympathetic doctor as most will tell you giving up bf will fix it. Which for the record is bull

if you can afford it go and see an ostepath who treats this condition now. its definately SPD but doctors and midwives in this country for some reason never take it seriously until its way to late.

I'd err at osteo tbh my osteo is lovely but said he would do more harm than good and he told me of a good physio. Also pilates after you are realigned.
