Ds is not ill.... just out of sorts. Fri night he was restless and woke up crying as if in pain about 5 times in 2 hours (calpol did the trick though). Today he has had glowing red (hot) cheeks. started on the left and has now moved to the right. Not really a rash as appears to be one solid colour, looks a bit like teething rash except he is definaely not teething.
We were out walking in the wind and rain yesterday so wondered if his cheeks were a bit chapped but to be honest he is used to being out in bad weather so i dont think it can be that.
Anyones lo had slap cheek.... does it sound like that?

Yes, could be - it just goes on its own so nothing to worry about - I think some nurseries prefer you to keep them at home these days but mine went with it - the whole nursery got it

oh pleeeeze let the nursery take him tomorrow!!!! he is not ill, just a bit fussy. they will go balistic at work if i have to miss another day due to ds's winter bugs!..... not to say i begrudge taking the time off for him, am just fed up of the sarcasm involved with calling in sick!
