Sorry for the multiple posts everyone, clearly I am very stressed and anxious I know but I just really want to hear people's experiences with consistent headaches, started as an all over headache with facial pain, facial pain has gone and now it's just at the base of my head by neck, and back of head on one side, same place now for 48 hours - it's intermittent throughout the day, I also have a bad pressure in both ears, and the back of head pain is throbbing, it's horrific!
I've seen doctors, I've been a&e when I had the facial pain with it which was a little over a week ago and they sent me home as non emergency, said to chase up with doctor. I left it a few more days to see if it would go honestly it's just getting worse. I would much prefer the sinus pain than this! Admittedly as I said I am very stressed and I so hope this is due to stress but I've never had pain like it, I do have a low pain tolerance and I can tolerate light/noise - no fevers or vomiting but I just wanna sleep it off all the time! That's the only time I have relief from it. Even googling, I can't find anything that fully matches what this is and I'm so scared, all I can find is having a headache everyday is not normal and needs to be investigated, also want to add the back of my neck near the base where I have pain is also very clicky, hurts to bend my neck back but can freely move around any other way, just bending back hurts! does this sound like anything anyone else has had? :( please no mean or nasty comments as I understand I am worried, I just want reassurance whilst I wait for my doctors appointment

Stress absolutely can cause pain like that and it will always feel worse when you are anxious.
Working 5 hours a day on a laptop on the sofa can absolutely cause neck issues and pain like you are describing- doesn't matter how long you've been doing it for already something has triggered this now.
It doesn't sound like there's anything sinister going on.
I would second the advice to see an osteopath, they can be amazing at sorting out headaches and can also advise you on posture.

Thank you, deep heat helps relieve it to be fair, better than pain killers!

Sorry to resurrect this thread from before Xmas, but was wondering if you ever got the solution to this issue you were having? (Hopefully you did)

Hey! Sorry to hear you're going through that. It genuinely went on its own after a few weeks of posting this.
