Massive overdose of Benzos and Alcohol, what to expect

A family member of Dp is in a coma following this. They were breathing when found, who h I believe is positive. Currently in coma witn assistance breathing. Hospital saying they don't know what will happen, but surely fact they were breathing when found is positive?

What do we expect please?

I’m glad she has woken up, that must be a massive relief! Do you know if they were prescribed benzos or street benzos? There are some very dodgy ones going round off the internet and there have been (at least) 2 deaths in the city where I work in the last 2/3 months. If that’s what she’s been taking, she needs to be very careful going forward.

I think she was prescribed them but took a huge amount at once. She's doing a lot better now though. It seems that she will be (physically) ok.
