I'm sure you'll be feeling a good bit better, at least, on Thursday. Only one day to go.

I had it a couple of weeks ago. As did my children. Me and my children stayed in for five days as i was dizzy if i moved too much and not fit to drive. my dh wasnt positive and wasnt ill and continued going to work. He told work about the rest of us. His work didnt care.

My DD just had it - she had cough, phlegm, felt rough, tired for a few days. Actually wanted to test so she didn’t spread it and missed a couple of work shifts but went back after 5 days (first symptom Tues, went to work on Sun) as feeling better. None of us has caught it yet.
I think testing still has value if you have obvious symptoms or are around vulnerable people as it can affect anyone badly with long covid.

That's hopeful, @Sara0 . I was like that Wednesday, better on Thursday and got up in the evening. If you can possibly sleep in the day to speed recovery, do. I know it's really difficult with kids, though.

Ugh! It's a pity you don't have a tv-although we aren't big TV people ourselves. This situation is exactly what they're most useful for!

You may be tired at the weekend, but I'm sure you'll feel much better. Try to eat well.

Just an update ladies my tests are negative today.. so I think it's a 5 day window.. o was really bad on day 2 and 3... a lot better today.. still have a congested nose and sinuses blocked but I can get on just fine with them xxx

Great. It does seem a shorter illness, but with cold symptoms lingering. I expect you'll be tired for a few days.

CriticalAlert · 14/09/2023 12:14

My partner felt like this and tested neg. I feel like it today...and tested neg. I reckon it is Covid because I am aching all over, sore throat, runny nose, death's door syndrome. I am going to isolate. I don't want to spread this and I think everyone else should do the same.

Anatomyofawaffle · 14/09/2023 12:42

@PinkRoses1245 selfish.

Dont push through it @Sara0 rest as much as you can through the worst of it. Pushing through seems to cause the post COVID fatigue to linger on for weeks.

I tested positive on Monday. Just got off a flight the day before too unfortunately.
Have felt really rough since and only got dressed today. Still testing positive. No way could I go to work. Temp, dizziness, lethargy etc.
DH tested positive yesterday and just has cold symptoms.

@cptartapp I checked my test after 30 min and there was a really faint line but not as dark as it was on Monday.. we both tested positive on the same day.. I feel dizzy and my ears are blocked I feel very weird ... I have a flight to catch next week I hope I'm better by then... I am better than Monday and Tuesday though.. what symptoms do you have today?
