Undercooked chicken

Oops I managed to under cook the roast chicken I did for dinner, didn't realise until they got down to the bone in the thighs and legs. I had breast and DD had a leg that was cooked in the middle. The 2 males both ate so fast (pigs) they knawed right down to the rather pink looking bone.

So what are our chances then?

Any precautions I can take to fend of a gippy tummy?

Should have to cook my own dinner on Mday anyway !!!

Tbh for it to be dangerous it would have to be raw enough for you to notice iyswim. Always make sure the juices are clear when you cut into the thigh.

Juices did look clear when I tested it but it still looked too white on the skin so I did it for half an hour longer than it said on the label, I made the mistake of putting tinfoil on like it said, then it said take off for last 20 mins. It was after that I checked then did an extra 30mins. (stupid I should have done it the way I always do but it was a pre basted thing as I couldn't get a decent un touched one).

When FIL carved it it look a bit pink right in at the base of the breast bone so he cut it all up apart fro the thighs and I put in in again for about 25 mins. It all looked fine, only when they had eaten it and left the bones did I realised the bones and bits were awfully pink looking, but as I said DD's leg was OK.

I think hte combi oven is not heating the same on both sides TBH, it is MIL's and its doesn't cook the same as mine which is the same model.

I do this all the time. I would not concern myself too much.

Thanks, just wonder if I should start with the gaviscon now, I feel a bit gippy, but I think that is just the thought of it.
