Frozen shoulder pain

Ouch! Long term moderate shoulder pain has rapidly developed into a full blown frozen shoulder. I'm on the waiting list for NHS physio but think I'm going to investigate going private at the pain is relentless. Anyone else been through this who can offer any advice on making it more bearable until I get seen by a professional?

Ouch. Look on YouTube, lots of physio videos on there with excercises for frozen shoulder.

Can you see an osteopath or chiropracter? You'll have to pay, but it will probably be worth it.

I had a series of sessions with my osteopath which sorted mine (can't remember how many but it wasn't too many), and was definitely worth not having to wait.

I found the gel that you put directly on shoulder to help and painkillers before bed as I couldn’t get into a position where it didn’t hurt. I’ve had a frozen shoulder twice and started doing stretching exercises slowly at first, everyday. I found the exercises on youtube. It does take weeks to get better, basically the shoulder joints become inflamed and cannot move. There is an operation that you have can, but you will probably be better by the time you get an appointment. There was a program on tv with Kate Garraway that went into detail, try and find this, it was on not long ago.
