Losing a 4th molar stress

Hi all

I am just into my 40s and set to lose my 4th molar (wisdoms didn't come in or be removed, so this is my chewing teeth.

Anyone else lost a good few molars and has it been an issue? What did the dentists suggest?

I cannot call to make an appointment yet as they aren't open.

4th molars aren’t a thing. The wisdom tooth is the third molar (the last one except in extremely rare cases).

Or do you mean you’ve had three extracted already?

Current thinking is you only really need your premolars to chew on. But often if you lose a tooth on the bottom, it can cause movement of teeth on the top.

Has your dentist discussed prevention with you? Diet & fluoride? Or gum disease if that’s the cause?

Not 4th molar, most 4 molar teeth in total was what I meant :)

No, never said anything about the teeth I have already lost when I went for check ups. I think my gum health has improved over the years from when I was younger as they haven't said anything about that either. But my gums do bleed when I brush.
