Would anyone like to chat managing a rectocele?

I’m looking into strategies to improve my pelvic floor, I’m currently learning hypopressives. I’m thinking of trying myofascial release. I’m also trying to find the best diet that will help me to easily empty my bowels. I started off by eating masses of fibre rich foods, I’ve reduced that and am doing better with less fibre. Prunes seem to help. My GP has suggested I take Senna. I’m not sure whether to.

Is there anyone else out there with a rectocele? Have you found out anything useful?

For me the only solution is a daily glycerine suppository to empty my bowels (on prescription) Too much fibre just made me bloated, and my pelvic floor is not coming back no matter what sadly.
I also have 5mg of Manevac (senna plus bulking agent) daily.
It's a nuisance but the suppository is just part of my daily morning routine now!

I have a ring pessary (moderate re rectocele and mild cystocele) - it seems to hold things up a bit.

While I have issues since having my eldest dd 20 years ago they've got a lot worse recently and im just starting the journey to see what I can do to help.

There's a prolapse Facebook group that's very active that's worth checking out
