Would a doctor be able to remove this?
It doesn't hurt but has got scarred where I've shaved it a few times by mistake 😬
Starting to look really raised and also like a bit spot now.
Anyone had similar removed?

Why don't you just squeeze it?

3luckystars · 09/08/2023 16:26

Or let me do it?

3luckystars · 09/08/2023 16:27

Pull it apart rather than squeeze.

please video it. Thanks.

Are you sure it’s not a cyst? Go to gp and get it checked out.

Friggingfrog · 09/08/2023 16:43

I would stick a sterilised pin in that and pop it (and enjoy every second of it)

Sporners' corner thataway >>>>>>

jammydodg · 09/08/2023 16:46

I'm normally so obsessed with spot squeezing and admit to have been in sporner corner before!
But this isn't a spot like that. It's covered in scar tissue and I've attempted to get it out before resulting in probably more scar tissue!
My 3 year old keeps mentioning where it's got bigger making me self conscious.
Could it be a cyst if it doesn't hurt?

I think I have a similar one! Had it go a few years. Attempted to pick at it with a pin and tweezers at the beginning but did nothing. Can't be squeezed as it is really hard, possibly scar tissue
Really want it gone!

Looks like a cyst not an ingrown hair

xLMCx · 05/09/2023 18:38

They look like Dermatofibroma, I have two on my legs and it's basically an injury from an insect bite for example or a hormonal change like pregnancy that causes them. You can get them cut out by professionals, I'm going to go for this once I have given birth as I hate mine! The easiest way to know of this is what it is, is to try and squeeze it and if the skin sorta sucks in... Hey presto you have a Dermatofibroma! Hope this helps!

I had one of these (dermatofibroma) removed. The GP burnt it off. I was left with what looked like a cigarette burn. The smell, the plume of smoke, it was brilliant! GP commented that most people look away, I was hunched over to get the best view.
