DD2 to walk in or not???

DD2[13m] has a bad cold and has done for the past 4/5 days. She has been throwing up all those days particularly when she has gone to bed as thats when the cough is worse. She is also teething and had her mmr 2 wks ago so think it is a combination of all these things plus we have all had one bug after another lately including DD1 having viral infection last week which lead to bad asthma attacks etc and ds has an ear infection brewing[have already had one walk in visit today]
So question is after having cleaned up my 4th bout of vomit since 7pm do we need to take dd2 to be seen?

I think general rule of thumb with vomiting in los is anything more than 48 hours is cause for concern. Is she keeping anything down? I would ring your out of hours doctor - get an appointment - you don't want to be hanging around with a very sick child. Just ring your ordinary doctor phone number to get the number.

how does she seem apart from the cough/vomiting?

if she is otherwise ok, I wouldn't bother tbh. the cough is probably what is making her sick
how has she been during the day?

My DD had this a couple of weeks ago and what helped was running a very hot shower and keeping her in the hot steamy bathroom for 10 minutes, it seemed to clear her chest and let her go to sleep.

in day she is ok but bit whiney which is her norm when teething. she is asleep on me at the min but wretching every time she coughs

I would assume then that all the coughing is what is making her actually throw up (a lot of kids do this)

as long as she isn't dehydrated and is eating ok and otherwise seems alright I personally wouldn't worry.

thanks fingerwoman..think I just worry as sometimes I can be too laid back about stuff due to DD1 being ill all the bloody time..pmsl
