Should I cover a weeping graze on face?

I did it a couple of days ago and covered it with sudocrem yesterday thinking it would help. It hasn't and after washing my face, the wound looks very wet and weepy. I have to go out to an appointment soon. What can I do to help/cover this mess on my face? It's a bit warm for a balaclava.

We do need a photo, but when you say "weeping" what do you mean? It sounds as if it would benefit from some nice fresh air.

I favour fresh air getting on things, but I might put a plaster/dressing over it to reduce the risk of infection getting in. But it also depends how it looks/feels.

In general, faces are good at healing and leaving your body alone to get on with it works best.

Definitely stop the Sudocrem.

Thanks, I've left it uncovered. The weeping looks like lymph mixed with blood, not infected.

If you're out and about I'd clean it and stick a dressing on it.
You don't want to sit there with a weeping face, or get infected.
Then back at home I'd let it air a bit but clean it regularly.
