Liver function blood results

Hoping someone here might know about Alkaline Phosphatase levels?

My understanding is normal range is 30-130iu/l in the tests used. If someone had a history of similar mid-range levels (all within 7iu) over several tests, over several years, whether an increase of 30-35iu/l is indicative of anything? Even if still within "normal range" (just under upper level).

Not sure whether to query or not....

It's normal - do you drink alcohol? Could explain why higher than your usual 'normal' but truth be told, sometimes it just reads higher for no reason/how the machine has been calibrated that reads the blood.

Always query if you're unsure but coupled with other results that I'm assuming are normal, I wouldn't worry too much.

Thank you @Amybelle88
It's not me, but someone vulnerable I care about. And yes a history of binge drinking. Also other health conditions/medications with risks to liver health. A good sort in lots of ways, but largely isolated and on their own. I'm certain they're downplaying to gp the amount they drink, trying to encourage them to be more honest and get help.

@Mogsmumps ah there's you're answer then - if they're drinking that's classically why this enzyme would be higher xx
