Avon skin so soft body oil - I've heard this repels mosquitos?

Just wondering if anyone knows if this is true?

I've read it several places and if it is I'm going to buy some 😁

The Body Shop peppermint foot spray, soothes the bites if you get them.

I also use picaridin based repellent in preference over deet based ones, it's very effective and pleasant to use

I think it depends on the type of mosquito. I have used it for years and never get bitten when I do.

It used to be a good insect repellent apparently, but they changed the recipe (years ago) and it isn’t anymore. But it still seems to have the reputation as an insect repellent.

For me it didn't help. I used to do a lot of backpacking in Scotland, home of midgies and mozzies.

For some it does seem to work, though, so worth a try for you.

Yes. I use it on my horses to keep the flies off. Its very effective

I think I have an older bottle - so possibly the version before it changed . It is blue in colour and I actually like the smell . It also seemed to work for midges but not tried it on mosquitos .

If you want an effective repellent just pay me to walk in front of you on your travels as mosquitos / midges seem particularly drawn to me Grin
