its not heat/swet rash.

her cry has also changed-at the exact same time- drastically. its louder, hoaser and completly different. im so worried

shes eatin n drinkin fine, relatively responsive.

am i right to be worried?

I would ring them asap. You won't rest until you know. I've rung them on more than one occasion. It'll be a better solution than contacting an emrgy gp cos you might be waiting a while for them to come and you'll be panicking. Hope your she's ok.

Does she have a flushed hot appearance on her face and if the rash has a lace like appearance it could be slapped cheek.

codswallop · 12/12/2004 21:03

maybe a viral rash

marysavannah · 12/12/2004 21:05

Hope she is feeling better today.

iirc bronchiolitis isn't contagious in itself but the virus (RSV) which triggers it is. In most cases it just manifests itself as a common cold but can trigger an inflammation of the airways in some cases and babies/toddlers whose airways are pretty narrow anyway are susceptible to it. One of the main signs to watch out for is sucking in of chest when breathing hard, in which case seek urgent medical attention.
