Can someone tell me why it feels like the whole world is about to fall out of my fanjo and it hurts so much that I can't put my mooncup back in?

Oh, sweetheart

It sounds like it might be endometriosis - pain varies according to where it's sited, but the stabbing you describe is familiar. Mine was all over my bowel (IBS-like symptoms and clammy, near-fainting episodes on the loo were monthly occurrences), adhesions had welded my left ovary so tightly to something it wasn't meant to be welded to that the surgeon couldn't see it at first.

I used to take something minty for the IBS stuff - began with C, I think - can't remember what it was called. Helped a bit. Makes your princess breezes a bit chilly - kinda minty, I guess [tmi]

I'd ask for a referral to someone who knows what they're talking about, actually. I'll email you the name of my surgeon.

ROFL at "princess breezes". That's a new one on me

Thank you lovely.

It's so weird, I mean, I've had two children emerge from my vagina ffs! But this is really something else.

Still a bit sore when removing mooncup. The suction pulls and aggravates whatever it is that is sore further up. My princess breezes are much more comfortable now though . And blardy DH has manflu this weekend. So, I've been up with the littlies, out dropping off dry cleaning, doing the weekly shopping, getting presents, wrapping and making a card for the boy's birthday DD went to today, which I had to take her to and stay there with 15 4-5 year olds tearing around and flicking balloons at me (and she didnt even want me to, she wanted her daddy to take her this time). Then pick up the dry cleaning. DH didnt even get DS out of his pyjamas today.

ooo poor you doing all that when you're in pain! Have a nice cup of cocoa and go to bed, or watch some chill out telly. I hope all that running round doesn't make things worse? Maybe it's one of those wierd things that comes then dissapears, never to be explained. (Or is it just me who has that kind of illness!?) Hope things keep getting better.

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 24/02/2008 00:28

Should be in my bed, but agree with Hunker.

If your MSN is working, I will briefly discuss the symptoms I experienced.

But you had best hurry lady, I am reading at 9.15 Mass tomorrow.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 24/02/2008 00:32

I bet you dont

Thanks sushi

I get this although i don't think its as painful as you seem to have but i don't have the added mooncup suction problems iykwim. It feels like everything is bruised inside, sitting and going to the toilet is painful and walking is uncomfortable but it only lasts for the first couple of days of my period when i'm at my heaviest. It been happening for a few months now and i've put it down to coming off the pill and/or the fact that its been just over a year since having the depo and the hormone wearing off.

hunkermunker · 24/02/2008 12:57

Any better, lovey?

Glad the euphemism raised a smile. Girl air is the other one I taunt DH with

hunkermunker · 24/02/2008 12:58

As for DH... Man flu?

saltire · 24/02/2008 12:59

I ahd similar as well. Mine sort of built up over a few months. It got tot eh point where I was gettingthrough 4 packs of towels in 3 days, adn wore 3 at a time. Then one day I started, and I thought I was going to die, I felt as though my insides were being pulled out by a suction. I ahd my 2 DSes and my friends 2 children who i was childminding. I ahd to crawl on my hands and knees to the phone and was crying down the phone begging her to come and help me.
Mine turned out to be Fibroids

VeniVidiVickiQV · 24/02/2008 20:59

Yes, a cold to you and me hunker.

That's pretty much it SG. I feel bruised inside and pain sitting down on the loo is shocking.

Crikey saltire! Is it all sorted now?My bleeding isnt as heavy as that, but it's gradually getting heavier each month.

Things have settled much more now. I've got some gripey front of the belly 'normal' period pains now. But the bruised feeling and all the stabbing pains have gone. Mooncup leaked again today. I'm pretty sure that was through poor fitting though

Sounds exactly the same as I get every single month Vvvq, it is awful feeling, and like hunker I have nearly passed out many a time from it.

Only difference with me is that my periods have practically stopped, I get loads more pain but no bleeding.

ShakeysGirl · 24/02/2008 22:04

Glad the pains gone. Co-incincedently my periods also seem to be getting heavier each month.

expatinscotland · 24/02/2008 22:07

Oh, VVV! PLEASE go see someone soon!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 25/02/2008 16:00

I'm going to ring and arrange an appointment this week. I've got to go back and see the doc anyway.

Today its as if there was nothing wrong.

zazen · 25/02/2008 16:20

VVV poor you!
sounds just like me - I had to stop using my mooncup cos inserting it and removing it was like a tug of war - felt like I was giving myself a prolapse!!

And would get these sudden shooting cramps in cervix and rectum that just floored me. Have no idea what they were, but since stopping using mooncup have no more cramps. Also bleeding so heavy I was anemic..

My gynae suggested that I have a hysterectomy.. no fibroids, no endo, just heavy periods.. I'm still in my 30s..
I get lighter periods if they occur round new moon - if full moon i have massive bleeding... very werewolf..
but am now 'doing' acupuncture with moxabustion and have some relief.

Hope you get it sorted soon, do go and see someone - just to put your mind at rest.
Hope your DH is over his man-flu soon..

VeniVidiVickiQV · 25/02/2008 16:28

Zazen - that is exactly it, yes. Glad yours is better now.
