When to worry about angina?

In the last few years my dad has been diagnosed with angina and had had three stents put in to open up his arteries. In the last couple of weeks he's had more angina symptoms (aches) in the evenings. He's really cut down on physical activities lately and is taking his gtn spray regularly which reduces/eliminates the pain during the day, but seems to get mild aching in the evening.

When is it time to worry about angina? It's hard to know what's normal.

Now, I'd get him back in, you don't say if he's elderly or in his 50s but my dad had the same early 60s it was progressively causing him more stress and pain, so he opted for a full bypass quadruple.

His recovery was good as he dealt with it younger, I think the longer you leave it the harder it can be to operate.

He's 70, otherwise very very healthy but unfortunately heart disease runs in the family. Thanks, I will make sure he speaks to the Doctor next week.
