Filler before wedding

Hi.
I was wondering if someone would be able to help me within the medical profession.
I've booked in to have filled in my nasolabial folds before my wedding. I was due to have it done a this week, however I have a query mosquito bite on my face and I'm unable to now have it done. I've booked it back in for five weeks before the wedding. Just wondering whether this is too close to the wedding for all swelling to have gone down?

Have you had it before? Should be fine if so. However, if you haven't, what if you hate it? I wouldn't risk having anything done like that before such a special day if you've not had it before

Yes I've had filler there before! I was just told that as I had a bite on my face that they couldn't do the treatment until it's resolved! So I've had to book in for two weeks time, when hopefully the bite has gone! I just don't know if five weeks is too close to the wedding?

It should be fine, I never really swelled much after the first few days, but I think can take 3 or 4 weeks for it to 'settle'.

Swelling / response is quite individual. How long did the swelling last the previous times you've had it done? If same practitioner and product, that shd be a good indicator. If not, I would treat it as a new treatment and not do it before any important photos.
