For the last 2-3 months everytime I sit back, say on the sofa or chair slightly tilted back, I feel like a something tight is hugging me just under my boobs.
Like my ribcage is very tight.
It doesn’t make me breathless or anything, it’s directly under my breasts.
It’s not sore or anything.
To describe it closely it’s like my boobs feel too heavy or big and their weight is sort of pressing on my stomach or ribs, BuT my breast are tiny, definitely not big, not swollen so it can’t be that.
I went to see GP about it twice, she felt my breasts and vaguely the stomach area, when she pressed the ribs the was sensitive but otherwise it’s not painful or sore at all.
Or like you would wear extremely tight bra ( I don’t wear bra)

I am now thinking that maybe I have a some stomach cancer, a tumour pressing inside on my ribs inside or even pancreatic cancer etc as I also get lately lots of heartburn and stomach pains, but as I never drink much water my whole life- I’m 49 yrs old ( only a one coffee a day and then nothing) I always thought perhaps dehydration etc.

I had breast ultrasound in January for not connected reason, also had CA125 test,FBC, thyroid, Amylase, kidneys / liver blood tests for another not connected reason in February all were normal..
Im seriously worried now.

I was thinking about how your body might have become so used to not drinking that you long-ago stopped recognising thirst when you felt it, and came across this which is interesting:
https://arcanum.ca/2012/03/03/if-im-dehydrated-then-why-dont-i-feel-thirsty/

I've noticed that my body stops feeling hungry after a certain point of little or no food and that it be a gradual process of increasing food intake to kick start the hunger process (not an eating disorder btw, long-term health issue). I've also noticed that a busy lifestyle led me to no longer recognise when I started feeling tired. I only realised this after a prolonged period of rest (weeks/months)...I'd become so used to feeling tired I just recognised it as normal, but it wasn't, I was chronically exhausted.

We obviously don't know why you don't seem to experience thirst but as you don't mention a specific reason I wonder if a lack of interest or habit or focus (or something else) when you were young has meant that you're status quo is everyone else's dehydrated.

In which case, small consistent changes are the way to go.

If 2L a day feels like too much right now, break it down. Aim for 1L or 0.5L per day. Or even just 3 glass fulls per day. Whatever, just make an increase and keep it up.

It takes time to build a habit. Your brain and body will both take a bit of time to adjust, but imagine how amazing youre going to feel once your hydrated!

Could be costochondritis.

Thank you everyone. I will try to see if I can drink more, rook 0.5 l with me earlier to work and drunk it easily.
@007DoubleOSeven thank you, I have Omeprazole here which I just started to take..
Its not costochondritis, I had that few yrs ago, was very painful what I had it, this one is not painful at all.
