How long to remove an adult molar?

Assuming it is a straight forward case where tooth is not impacted in awkward position. How long is the “pulling” phase? Does anyone know?

Not quite the same but had 2 wisdom teeth out - one took 45 mins as it was impacted and the other one popped out within seconds.

Had an abscess that cracked the tooth and it couldn't be saved - seconds

A hollow wisdom tooth - an hour and a piece of jawbone later 😥 Literally had his knee on my chest at one point.

If it's not impacted, and it doesn't crack in the process of being pulled, in my experience literally seconds. You'll be so numbed up you won't feel anything.

Thanks. It’s first adult molar not wisdom teeth. Hoping it’s super quick 😬

First things first teeth are not pulled, you push and wriggle , once it is loose you pull.
Second dentists, in general , are not the most nimble or flexible of people , and unless freakishly tall with very long legs very few could actually get a knee on someone's chest when someone is on a dental chair , if they did they would crack a rib and there is literally no advantage to doing so. It would make it impossible to take a tooth out. As said before you push to get a tooth out , not pull.

A tooth that is loose will come out in seconds, a tooth that has curved roots can take a bit longer. However all dentists will make sure you are numb so that you will feel the pressure of pushing but will have no pain. Most teeth will be out in less than 5 minutes.
