High quality and discreet hearing aid

Hi all

I have been diagnosed with mild to moderate hearing loss. I'm generally ok without an aid but am finding it increasingly difficult at work to her clearly in meetings at work etc. I would like to get a hearing aid for use in certain situations, and would like to get one that is high quality and discreet. I don't have any particular budget in mind and am happy to pay more for the right one. Can anyone recommend something?

TIA x

Have you tried any hearing aids?
I ask because I also have moderate hearing loss and looked into aids from Boots. I decided to try the NHS first in order to find out whether I could manage them. I was extremely surprised by how discreet they were.
I still plan to buy some because I want bluetooth connection though.

Thanks @RedHinge for your reply. No, I haven't tried any yet so that is a good suggestion thank you

I have the NHS ones, and I'm pretty sure they do have Bluetooth connection.

@SaltyCrisps mine don't, they are very basic but before I get private ones I will ask if I can get NHS Bluetooth ones as I know some people get them. I think it's a bit postcode dependent, some trusts fund them others don't.

Check they type of Bluetooth offered by the NHS. Some have Bluetooth only for altering the sound level and switching programs, which is pretty useless really. Others will let you stream audio and phone calls to your hearing aids too.
