Liver asp?

Over the last 2 year my liver tests have been out of range. I am a non drinker, non smoker and bmi of 26. No doctor appointments for another 2 weeks yet they gave me these results over the phone. So left to worry and panic. Anyone know about raised liver levels? Confused

NAFLD -Non alcoholic fatty liver disease possibly.
there are several readings within a liver function test though so without knowing what is raised it’s a bit of a guess. See if you can get a print out from the receptionist so you know what you are looking at.

However, if it was anything concerning the Dr would have phoned you. There are people who are phone within hours of blood tests being taken if anything really concerning is discovered so try not to panic -easier said than done I know.

Alkaline phosphatase can be raised for no apparent reason. Mine has been over 300 all my life. Try not to worry. It really can be nothing to worry about.

How old are you op?

Beachhutnut · 31/05/2023 21:20

Could be non fatty liver disease, gallstones, polycystic liver.... Worth going back to Dr and seeing if you can have more tests done.

I am 54. Had similar problems 2 year ago. They put it down to medication and I had a liver scan. All was ok at the time.
