Order of teeth falling out in child

Wasn't sure where to post this.

DD age 7 has lost her bottom central and lateral incisors. At the top, she lost one of her central incisors (front teeth) in September last year and nothing has happened until last week when she lost the lateral incisors next to it. I think the lateral incisor on the other side is now ever so slightly wobbly, but the other front tooth is still firmly in place!

She last had a check up a month ago and the dentist wasn't worried at all but said if it hasn't fallen out in 6 months they will Xray to make sure there is an adult tooth there waiting to come through. So now I'm worrying myself thinking that she doesn't actually have a second adult front tooth! Surely it should have fallen out by now, 8 months after the first one did?

I've looked online and I know children can have missing adult teeth but I can't find anything about front ones, everything seems to say they are usually other teeth that are missing.

My son's adult teeth came through just randomly op not in any logical order. I can see why you are worrying but dentist just sounds a bit OTT. Is she private?

It is extremely rare for central incisors tobe missing they can be impacted most common teeth to be missing are second premolars wisdom teeth and occasionally lateral incisors . Central incisis canines and first molars are very very seldom missing. Please note the first adult molar erupt behind baby molars before any back teeth fall out

Generally teeth do come through in an order, lower Central incisors then first molars, lower lateral incisors at same time as upper centrals then upper laterals the nothing happens for a while the first premolars and canines then second premolars and second molars, this is normally complete by age 13 in girls and a bit later in boys, wisdom teeth if present and space from 17 onwards this happens without too much hassle for most people but some need intervention

No, not private.

Thankyou both for the reassurance.
