Stress Incontinence from Bladder Prolapse - Bulkamid recovery time

I've recently been diagnosed with a Bladder prolapse after years of stress incontinence. It got far worse post pregnancy even with an elective c-section to avoid it getting worse. I've have been offered the sling procedure (a major op and no chance of a second child afterward) Or bladder bulking using Bulkamid, which I've read is minimally invasive, a 15 minute procedure with 24 hours return to normal activity, avoiding heavy exercise for a few weeks. However, my consultant is saying I will need to 'Take it easy' and work from home for 2 weeks. I have a client event 8 days later which involves some train travel, a hotel stay and standing and walking for around 5 hours (In a Seated area). I intend to rest and work from home until that day. I'm wondering if anyone can share their recovery from this procedure as it seems extreme to stay at home with limited movement for 2 weeks. Especially with a 16 month year old and even more so given everything I'm reading to say it's so minimally invasive. I've been on my feet after knee surgery and C-section quicker ! Any thoughts of this from people who've had the procedure? (It's under general but I have had that many times and plan to stay at home for the days after!)

I know nothing about the procedure but why would you have it if you're not prepared to follow the instructions for recovery? How important is the possibility of having another child?

@Footle not sure why people like you respond. If you don’t have any idea why bother wasting your time to reply! Not very helpful really

I've had a different prolapse surgery and I just did as I was told, it was a lot to go through and I didn't want to jeopardise my recovery.
