Are there any days when you're 'more likely' to get a migraine?
Just started with the old rainbow zigzags - and my younger daughter messaged to say she was starting with a migraine. Then my other daughter messaged to say that her daughter had had zigzags and was now blind (possibly a blind spot like I usually get). We think this is her second migraine- she's only 6 years old. The first time it happened she became hysterical, crying 'don't let me die mummy'.
I've had migraines for 50 years. It seems I've passed them on to a daughter and granddaughter. Bloody awful things. I thought that my breakfast wasn't going through my stomach - it usually 'stops emptying' and is one of the first signs that I could get a migraine. Just hoping I'm not sick this time.
A colleague and I used to get migraines on the same day. We used to pass the time of day discussing whether it was a 'migraine day'.
We used to say it was all about the weather and concluded that they were more likely with high barometer readings. We used to get a 'group' of them in autumn and spring. This is probably one of my spring migraines then.
I'm off to lie down - can feel the pain coming.
