daydreams or something more worrying

My three year old has been having a series of daydreams this week where he stares into space for a few seconds then finally responds to us calling his name. He doesn't twitch or fall unconscious but they are very unnerving and I am worried he is having seizures of some sort. I may be totally wrong - he has also been very tired and aggressive - major biting phase. Can anyone help?

Is he just lost in thought? I find with my LO's that they can be engrossed in something and can easily zone out of what's around them.

If you are worried about seizures maybe you should speak to your health visitor, practice nurse or GP?

I had this with my dd. As the other poster says make an appointment with a professional to put your mind at rest.

My dd had one of those tests at hospital, you know where they put a hat on them with about 50 wires coming out to measure brainwaves, doesn't hurt them but looks so funny.

Anyway it transpired that she wasn't having petit mals, she's just a daydreamer.

Don't spend weeks worrying just make the appointment.

does he sleep well/enough? he may be getting more aggressive if he's tired, and might also affect his daydreaming (easier to lull into daydream if you are already tired)
