I was operated on in January 2023 (not to do with thyroid)

I have been to my chemist who are closing down but they said to go back to GP.

3 months on - occasional soreness and feels kind of raised but I can’t bare to touch it with bio oil. The cream coloured top is most recent.

i'm not it the medical industry but it looks like it's healing ok to me. i'll leave others who are more experienced to confirm though x

It doesn't look infected or like it's separating at all, it seems from the image to be healing but a little raised.
It's an awkward location because it will be moving a lot and will potentially get a bit warm and sweat which will slow down healing a little.

I found the silicone scar reducing sheets really good when I had hand surgery, they flattened and reduced the scar really quickly.

If you do have any concerns though the GP or nurse for a proper look is a good call.

As above poster, silicone sheet flattened a scar that was like a raised piece of string pretty much overnight on me!. Massage is important to desensitise it otherwise will stay hypersensitive
