Skin Tags on Neck - How to Rid

I've about 15 that have sprung up since my menopause 3 years ago on one side of the neck. I've read that you can tie them off, but I don't have anyone to help me to do that. I'm not able to do so myself as they're very small, say 5mm long. Is there another method that won't resort to expensive treatment. I'm not sure if its my clothing that's encouraging them or not. Or if it's perfume. (Stopped wearing it 6 months ago.) Is there any help out there, please? It's really unsightly.

They're linked to high blood sugar. I had lots and changed my lifestyle and they shrunk

You can buy little bands on Amazon. They come with little stock thing to put them on. It is possible to put them on by yourself. I do them for DH but he can do them himself.

Years ago I had one on the back of my neck that kept catching on tops and scarves, I mentioned it to my GP in passing and he offered to cauterise it, very quick and easy.

If I catch them when they are small enough, I just cut them off with a pair of tiny, very sharp
scissors. Most of the time they don’t even bleed.

you have to use your own judgment on this particular course of action as it is not recommended by your doctor.

Gp gave me cream and they fell off in a week x

I had a tiny one, I cut it off with nail clippers with no pain or blood if you are bold enough.

I'm not able to cut them off myself as they're so small and on my neck that it would be difficult for me to reach without injuring myself. I don't have anyone to help me either. I think if a GP can prescribe treatment, then I'll go with that.

Thanks for the tip about it relating to my recent weight gain. I'll look into that.

I'll give you a really good tip that I found out by accident. I put a load of that cheapo freeze gel on my sore shoulder/neck for a few days, and my skin tags shrunk and fell off.

High strength salicylic acid, like in bazuka wart gel will do it, you may have to repeat a couple of times over a week or two

I had exactly the same and mine were really small. Get Cryotag from Boots - it's around £20 and you do it at home (freeze them) and they fall off within a couple of weeks.
