It has steroid cream on ( Dermacort ) but do you think this is pompaplox ( spelling ? ) execma ?
It feels like lots of very dry spots and itches like mad.
I've had it for months and it's not shifting. Both hands.

Looks like it to me, I had it too. Lots of little blisters and intense itching. Don't pip them or they could get infected.

Looks like it. I got rid of it with asteroid cream from the GP and I stopped using hand wash and switched to bars of soap only.

I've had it too and you have my sympathy, I think it is. I had it after a baby and lots of handwashing/little sleep and it didn't come back.

Thank you for your replies , even picking up a tablet of soap stings !

I get patches like that if I accidentally touch washing up liquid. Steer clear of anything scented, I use lavender faith in nature soap or the simple brand and moisturise like mad with something non scented (Palmers cocoa butter does an unscented version which is cheap).

I have recurrent pompholyx and use Oilatum bar soap when I wash my hands. O'Keefe's Working Hands cream is good for the dry/cracked skin phase.

Annoyingly, the steroid cream that worked best for me has now been discontinued, so it's back to trial and error until the GP can prescribe a different one that works!
