Help, could this be MS?

About a week ago I started out of the blue getting a really weird sensation when i walk or move I get an electric shock feeling through my whole body (mainly down the left… I think it’s hard to tell but I’ve had a little tingling in my left leg and left arm too), it’s like that feeling you get when someone ‘walks over your grave’ but when I move or turn my neck. When I’m not moving it’s fine. I googled that symptom and it keeps coming up with MS. It’s spiralled me and now I’m a complete wreck… I just need talking down a bit… I know this is probably irrational. Sorry

More than likely a trapped nerve if you have no other symptoms.

Your reflexes are one of the first things to go.

Def sounds like a trapped nerve
I have this and it's because of a herniated disc . Many people will have a herniated disc without knowing and it doesn't usually case any issues but can occasionally cause the symptoms you've described. Could also be carpal tunnel.
I would contact GP for further investigation if it increases in severity or frequency otherwise doesn't sound too alarming

The fact that it only comes on when you move means it is very unlikely to be MS. Your symptoms do not fit. It sounds like a trapped nerve.

I ended up at A&E thanks to over zealous 111 when I went tingly on one side of my body. Luckily got diverted to an excellent out of hours GP who spent a good 20-30 mins testing my reflexes. He told me that as I still had full movement and reactions, it was very unlikely to be anything neurological and much more likely to be a trapped nerve. So if you still have full movement, you're probably absolutely fine. Mine got better quickly once I stopped stressing about it.

I had exactly the same OP, along with back of the head headaches, I get reverse - only get the problem sitting down on a sofa. If I could keep moving all day and not look up either- I'm sorted!! I've had tests galore including seeing neurologist and she said same about MS and reflexes and strength tests . The osteopath I saw though is pretty sure it's disc /spine related (I'm 61) and don't gave great posture. I'm waiting on an MRI for that.

I have had MS for 20 years. The sign that it associated with MS is pins and needles down your spine when you look down, not in one side of your body. It's called the L'hermittes sign. I do sometimes get pins and needles and numbness in individual limbs but never as an isolated symptom. It takes a long time to get an MS diagnosis precisely because there are so many other conditions that can be similar to it. I would speak to your GP.
