High iodine levels

Hi everyone, I have post partum thyroiditis which I'm hoping will resolve (I am on levothyroxine). My iodine levels are very high, I've cut out eggs and fish but trying to see what else I can do to lower it?

Any tips please?

You might be surprised to learn that the primary source of iodine is actually milk and milk derived products due to the sanitising process in farming. Sorry but you need to cut the milk if you need to cut your iodine intake.
in addition to dairy, consider seaweed and some seaweed containing seasoning have very high levels of iodine as well.
Salt is enriched with iodine so read labels when buying salt and since manufacturers don’t need to declare if the salt in their product contains iodine or not, you might be eating some in processed foods as well.

Thank you! I wasn't the biggest milk consumer but I guess there will be lots in cheese. I've also switched to non-iodised salt and an iodine free vitamin so hopefully that brings things down
