I've got Hayfever, Asthma and Blepharitis and I've struggled the last 3 or 4 summers and ended up in the Emergency Eye Clinic.

So what works for you?

Fexofenadine 180mg.

Bliss.

Pressed post, not preview and hadn't finished!

It's like being a normal person again!

That and keeping pollen out as best I can. So, showers before bed, clean clothes, windows closed etc. I find it really clings to my hair.

What do you do / use now? Are you being prescribed appropriate eye drops, nasal sprays, tablets? Household routine i.e. closed windows, fresh pillowcase each night, wash your face frequently (I just use a cold damp face cloth!), any air treatment you use etc?

Fexofenadine 120mg only thing that touched me

ItsTrueLou · 23/01/2023 19:31

Another 365 Fexofenadine 120mg user here. It is the only thing that works. I have the option to go up to 180mg on 'bad' days

Acrivastine three times a day starting before the hayfever starts to kick in works for me/

Same here. For most of my life I have had uncontrollable sneezing plus asthma and eczema. I also have a prescription nasal spray. Absolutely life changing.

I'm prescribed eyedrops for day and night lubrication but just use over the counter Hayfever tablets but it's clearly not enough. Wanted to know what worked for everyone else so that I could look them up before talking to my GP.

Another Fexofenadine fan here. You can now buy the 120mg over the counter I just went straight to that and didn’t bother with the GP. I use over the counter eye drops and nose spray with the tablets, and this keeps it all under control all summer for me.
