Constant nausea?

Hi all, thought I'd see what your thoughts are.

For about 2 weeks now I've had almost constant nausea, sometimes it gets worse after eating but not always. I have had periods of moderate pain across my lower and upper abdomen, but it's not there at the moment. Also the last 4 days or so I have felt so incredibly run down, just exhausted all the time, I do work full time and my shifts are a bit odd but that's not unusual.

Last night I slept from 9pm until 10 am this morning, and then I had a nap from 1pm until 5:30pm, I never nap, ever, like I hate naps with a passion.

I feel like I'm falling apart and I don't know the reason.

I'm on the Injection (sayana press) which isn't due to expire until the end of January. I have done a pregnancy test and that is negative.
I did do a covid test and it's also not that (had a fever one of the days last week)
I do suffer with chronic pain but in my limbs (investigating for Ehlers Danlos)
I have never had issues with my stomach before

Help please

No one here can diagnose you, but you might get some who have, or are having similar symptoms that you can relate to. Get to a GP asap, but I'm sure you know that!

There are so many things it could be and all benign too. Ulcer, gastritis, gall bladder, acid reflux etc.

I had similar symptoms to you but not exactly the same, not much pain only some infrequently. Plenty of burping and nausea though, which was not pleasant.

Anyway, I had an endoscopy and they found an ulcer. I couldn't believe it, but yes, there it was! It was caused by the Helicobacter Pylori bacteria (have a look for it). I was treated immediately with triple therapy which is two hefty antibiotics and a high dose of Lanzaprasole (could have been esomeprazole, can't remember now) for two weeks. The meds are tough to take, but when I finished them I had further tests to see if the bacteria had cleared and it had. I am taking a lower dose of Lanzaprasole daily now as a protective barrier, but the ulcer has healed.

I hope you get the answers you are looking for. And don't fear the endoscopy it is not so bad but you definitely should ask for sedation. No need to do it the hard way.
