Behind babies ears

My baby has a sort of crust behind her ear. I've tried leaving it alone, cleaning it with water, soapy water and applied coconut oil and sudocrem (all at different times over a period of about a month) And it's still here.
Is it cradle cap? Should I just leave it alone?
I've attached a photo. Any help would be appreciated!
I should add, she doesn't seem affected by it. So I don't think it's sore.

I would seek advice from your G.P, it could be a fungal infection which needs a prescription cream.

My DS had this earlier in the year, he is 3. I put sudocrem on it for a few nights and made sure it was dried properly after baths, and it got better really quickly.

This used to happen to DD. I think the original time was milk got b behind there and we didn't realise and clean carefully enough. I would very very gently clean the area with warm water and gentle baby soap. Then I applied a thin layer of bio oil. Cleared up very quickly and if it started to reappear, one or two bio oil applications would sort it (obviously, I learnt my lesson and was more careful about cleaning in the first place! Grin)

Personally I wouldn't use soap on that area as it looks inflamed, maybe use cooled boiled water to clean the area regularly and make sure it's fully dry then put savlon/sudocrem on the area xx

My son had this - I think a combination of cradle cap mixed with milk - babies can be gross! I left it when it was dry like that, but it did become wet and a nurse prescribed a fungal cream which cleared it up with a day.

I think it’s eczema/dry skin that’s not shedding properly because it doesn’t have things like clothes rubbing against it, my daughter still gets this behind her ears and in the top crease of her ear and she’s 5.

I put a bit of Vaseline on to soften it then wipe it away with a damp facecloth.
